Ceci n'est pas une blog

Here's an extremely fun commission idea that came up in the last batch. Chris Murrin asked for a take on René Magritte's The Treachery of Images, with a twist of Plastic Man. Chris said I could make Plas look like anything I wanted, but I had to hit the joke on the head and do a pipe.

But then I felt bad because I didn't feel like this is worth a whole commission, so I did another. This one says (in terrible grammar) "This is not a bagpipes"
I've said it before but it bears repeating, I have an absolute blast drawing Plastic Man. I won't say I'm going to keep doing more of these, but I thought of at least a dozen others while working on them. Thanks again Chris for commissioning a brilliant idea!

And thanks to you folks who have written about commissions. I've got about 5 more spots left on this month's list, so make sure to write in soon if you're interested!
