The Whole Darn Thing

Well here's the whole page, put together Frankenstein style. That last panel goofed everything up with the panel breaking word balloon so I had to make a couple adjustments to earlier panels. I also added a header that I made up earlier in the week because I had this sketch of Ted without the mask on. This was a great learning experience, especially for getting an idea of how to use the faux zip-a-tone more effectively. If there's another one of those Wednesday Comics, I'd love a chance at a Wildcat story.

This was a heck of a lot of fun. Maybe I'll do another one next month with a different character. Or maybe more of what's going on here. I bet Wildcat wins this one.

Nice stuff as always, Evan!

Ted's always been a fave of mine, stretching back to his selfless heroics in Crisis on Infinite Earths! (Sorry, that's the first place I met Wildcat)

great! i really like the simplicity of the header's type, and the way you captured his attitude so well.

holy crap, Evan, man, I just plotzed! that is awesome! seriously, this might well be my favourite thing of yours. after that Bat fellow, Wildcat's my favourite DC character, and one who gets absolutely nowhere near the treatment he deserves. THIS works, for me. now all we need is a grumpy old Irish cop and a whole bunch of nazi gangsters, and I'm the happiest man in the blog-o-verse! cheers, mate!
