By Crom!

A weekend sketch of everybody's favorite Cimmerian, Conan the Barbarian. I'm a big fan of John Buscema's work on the character and that one story Jorge Zaffino drew, but it was the great work being done on the recent Dark Horse title that made me want to try drawing Conan again. I'm looking forward to buddy Declan Shalvey's work on the book coming up in a month or two.

UPDATED: Now in color --

Anyway, boy it's fun to let loose and draw some swords and mayhem now and then. I totally get the appeal of drawing a book like this.

Well done! I can feel just a hint of a Zaffino vibe there.

nice. I like that you gave Conan a slender, athletic physique instead of beefcake.
